​​​Prof. Toshihiko Takemura

Prof. Toshihiko Takemura is a Distinguished Professor in Research Institute for Applied Mechanics, Kyushu University, Japan. He obtained his Doctor of Science degree in 2001 from the University of Tokyo. His research field includes numerical simulations of climate change and air pollution caused by atmospheric aerosols. His is highly cited Researcher for seven consecutive years (2014-2020). He received Japan Academy Medal in 2019. He is a Lead author of the Fifth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). He is member of Science Panel of the Asia Pacific Clean Air Partnership (APCAP).
