Dr. Ramesh Soysa is the Head of Climate Change Cluster at the AIT RRC.AP. He has over 21 years of combined research, academic, professional and field experiences with proven track record in climate, conservation, environment and energy initiatives in international landscapes. His focus areas include proposal development, climate programming, carbon asset development and applied research initiatives that leads to low carbon emission, livelihoods enhancement and climate resilience future.
Dr. Soysa obtained his Ph.D. in Environment and Energy Mechanical Engineering from University of Science and Technology, South Korea. He holds a M.Eng. in Energy Technology from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand and a B.Eng. in Environmental Energy from the University of Leeds, England.
