Charina May Lepiten has over 25 years of extensive experience in diverse fields ranging from air and atmospheric pollution, disaster management, urban planning and infrastructure development, to information and human resource management. Her current interest is on air quality issues as she works at the Air Pollution Cluster of RRC.AP, which implements air-related initiatives, including the Acid Deposition Monitoring Network in East Asia (EANET), the Malé Declaration on the Control and Prevention of Air Pollution in South Asia, and the Atmospheric Brown Clouds, among others. She is involved in planning, coordinating and organizing events, such as webinars, trainings and meetings; prepares and compiles reports and documentation of projects; and provides overall support to the Cluster. Charina holds an MSc. in Urban Planning from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand and a BSc. in Civil Engineering from the Mindanao State University, Philippines.
