We have #OnlyOneEarth. Let's take care of it.
RRC.AP advocates for World Environment Day (WED), which is celebrated annually in June, and is the United Nations' principal vehicle for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of the environment. This year’s World Environment Day will focus on 3 major themes, namely: Climate, Nature, and Chemicals & Pollution.
This activity promotes sustainable foods and eco-friendly products through green shopping practice.
We are hosting a Sustainable Bazar to raise awareness on choosing sustainable products when shopping. If you are a producer or merchant of eco-friendly products, we invite you to showcase your products in our marketplace. For your participation,
please register here.
Sustainble Food Vendor
A bazaar becomes festive and alive when there’s a variety of tasty foods for sale. We therefore invite anyone who wish to sell food to
register for this event
and follow these sustainable and health safety guidelines. :
- It is preferable that the packaging of the produce that you use for cooking is biodegradable.
- It is preferable to use produce that are organic and locally-sourced.
- The food should be prepared and served in a hygienic environment, wearing masks all the time. A food-grade, biodegradable gloves will be provided.
- The community is encouraged to bring their own food containers and utensils in the event. If the customer did not bring his/her own food containers, the vendor is expected to provide plastic-free, biodegradable food packaging at an additional yet reasonable cost.
- Avoid food waste.
