Photo Competition

RRC.AP advocates for World Environment Day (WED), which is celebrated annually in June, and is the United Nations' principal vehicle for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of the environment.

CATEGORY

This year’s World Environment Day centers on the theme climate, nature and pollution.  It will focus on the need to live sustainably in harmony with nature, and our possibilities for shifting to a greener lifestyle through both policies and individual choices. “Only One Earth” is the campaign slogan of WED 2022.

Competition is open to the entire AIT community. The community includes enrolled students, scholars, researchers, faculty, staff and their immediate families, as well as institutions housed within the AIT campus.

INSTRUCTIONS TO JOIN THE COMPETITION

-    Format and Size: All photos MUST be digital images saved in JPEG format. All JPEG images must conform to a minimum size whereby the longer aspect of any image must be AT LEAST 3600 pixels and images should be saved at a minimum quality level 10 (Adobe Photoshop). Digitally tampered / manipulated photographs will be disqualified however the adjustment of the resolution of the photo using software such as Adobe Photoshop is allowed.

-   Submission deadline:  register not later than1 June 2022.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:
-    Relevance   
-    Creativity
-    Photo composition
-    Other aspects like Impact, Style, Color Balance, Lighting, Subject Matter, Technique, and Story Telling will also be considered.

-    Director’s Choice Award     = B 500
-    Popular Vote                       = B 500
-    Honorable mention Prize (3)    = Gift Voucher
