"The Malè Declaration First Regional Stakeholders Forum was successfully organized in Dhaka, 8 Oct 2003. It was jointly organized by SACEP, SEI, RRC.AP and Department of Environment, Bangladesh. The Forum aims to: a) increase awareness on transboundary air pollution; b) discuss stakeholders views on the implementation of Malé Declaration; c) improve the information exchange between information generators and users; and d) form a regional network of Stakeholders. Participants included National Focal Points, National Implementing Agencies and representatives from NGOs in the member countries.
