​​Bhutan's National Environment Commission convened the National Stakeholders Consultation Meeting as part of the phase III implementation of the Malé Declaration last 28 April 2008 in Thimpu. The meeting reviewed Malé Declaration implementation and identified specific recommendations for further implementation of air pollution related activities in the country. Over forty participants representing various stakeholder groups such as different line ministries, NGO's and UNDP Bhutan attended the program.
