​​Nepal's Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology convened the National Stakeholders Consultation Meeting as part of the phase III implementation of the Malé Declaration on 4 March, 2008 in Kathmandu. Held in collaboration with the Clean Air Network Nepal, the meeting reviewed Malé Declaration implementation and identified specific recommendations for further implementation of air pollution related activities in the country. The stakeholders' forum developed a new coordination mechanism to address the air pollution issues in Nepal.
