​National stakeholders' forum on Control and Prevention of Air Pollution and its Likely Trans-boundary Effects for South Asia was held in Srilanka on 12 June, 2007. Representatives from Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, Central Environmental Authority (CEA); Sri Lanka, South Asia Cooperative Environmental Programme (SACEP), Stockholm Environmental Institute (SEI) and United Nations Environmental Programme Regional Resource Center for Asia and the Pacific (UNEPRRC) joined the forum and discussed on issues as enhancing the awareness on the trans-boundary air pollution, sharing stakeholders views and ideas on the implementation of male Declaration and improving the information exchange between information generators and users.
