​As an implementing partner of the UNEP Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (UNEP ROAP) as the Secretariat for the Acid Deposition Monitoring Network in East Asia (EANET), RRC.AP provided supports to the EANET Secretariat in organizing the Eighteenth Session of the Intergovernmental Meeting (IG18) on the Acid Deposition Monitoring Network in East Asia (EANET) held at the United Nations Conference Center (UNCC) in Bangkok, Thailand, on 22‐23 November 2016. The Session endorsed Framework Document on the Arrangements of the Secretariat for the Acid Deposition Monitoring Network in East Asia (EANET) between UNEP and the EANET which was signed by the Chairperson of the IG18 on behalf of the thirteen participating countries of the EANET at the end of the Session.  The Framework Document will be subsequently counter-signed by the Executive Director of UNEP.  The IG18 also approved the Third Periodic Report on the State of Acid Deposition in East Asia and the Work Program and Budget of the EANET in 2017.
