​The workshop was conducted as a part of the project undertaken by AIT RRC.AP to develop and disseminate technical guidelines for plastic and resin pellets leakage from recycling factories and informal recycling sectors in the ASEAN. The project is funded by the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) Regional Knowledge Centre for Marine Plastic Debris, (RKC-MPD) and its objective is aligned with the ASEAN regional action plan for combating marine plastic debris. ​
