​​​AIT-RRC.AP participated at Incheon International Environmental Technology Confex

Dr. Vanisa Surapipith, Head of the Air Pollution Cluster of Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT-RRC.AP), was invited to participate at the 2025 Incheon International Environmental Technology Confex, held from 15–16 October 2025 at Songdo Convensia, Incheon, Republic of Korea.​

Dr. Vanisa chaired the 6th session on “Southeast Asia Air Quality Management Technology Demand Discovery Network”. She encouraged discussion among the delegates from Laos PDR, Vietnam and Thailand, and also delivered a presentation on “ASEAN Fund for Air Quality Improvement: Opportunities and Guidelines”. Her leading discussion emphasized the need for stronger regional collaboration, investment in air quality solutions, and knowledge-sharing platforms for Southeast Asia. Experiences were also shared by other experts, particularly Mr. Ittipol Pawamart of Thailand Pollution Control Department and Associate Prof. Sirima Panyametheekul from Chulalongkorn University.

The Confex brought together policymakers, experts, and stakeholders from across the world, including Africa, Asia and South America, to explore innovative approaches for sustainable environmental management.​
