The Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific (AIT RRC.AP) was honoured to welcome H.E. Mr. Kentaro Doi, Vice Minister for Global Environmental Affairs, Ministry of the Environment, Japan (MOEJ), and his delegation on a courtesy visit to the Asian Institute of Technology. His Excellency underscored the need to translate global frameworks into concrete actions at regional and local levels to address Asia-Pacific’s environmental challenges, and reaffirmed AIT RRCAP’s vital role in achieving these goals. Dr. Guilberto Borongan, Director of AIT RRCAP, expressed gratitude to MOEJ for its continued support and highlighted the Centre’s commitment to advancing environmental solutions with key stakeholders across the region.
