Background
Recent flooding in Bangkok highlights the importance of strengthening urban flood resilience through better risk information, planning and adaptation measures. In response, the Asian Institute of Technology Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific (AIT RRC.AP) with support from the Ministry of the Environment, Japan (MOEJ) and technical contributions from Hitachi Power Solutions Co. Ltd, is organizing a practical webinar on the application of flood-risk mapping technologies for urban resilience.
The webinar will feature practical demonstrations of FloodS and DioVista, showcasing how flood modelling, inundation mapping and scenario analysis can support evidence-informed urban planning, infrastructure investment, disaster preparedness and climate adaptation.
Key Highlights
