Paid Internship - Case Documentation and Applied Learning Intern
Duration: 3 months (from February to April, 2026)

Background
AIT RRC.AP is seeking a student intern to support documentation of real-world urban resilience practices and development of applied learning materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and draft concise case studies based on city practices and programme documentation.
- Translate case insights into learning formats (briefs, teaching notes, diagrams).
- Support the development of scenario-based exercises and simulation materials.
- Organise and summarise documentation materials for internal use.
- Contribute to the refinement of training and knowledge products.
Deliverables
- Detail, extensive compilation of structured case studies
- A set of applied learning tools (scenario prompts, role-play outlines, or problem-based exercises).
- A simple documentation summary table.
- Basic visual aids (process diagrams or system maps).
- Contributions to training materials.
Final Internship Output Report
A short synthesis report including:
- Completed outputs
- Methods and design choices
- Lessons learned and recommendations
- A simple case documentation template/checklist
- A summary brief for training or policy use
Ideal Candidate
- Strong interest in urban resilience, disaster risk management, or development practice
- Good synthesis and writing skills
- Ability to turn real-world experience into clear learning materials
Preferred Background
- Studies in disaster management, development studies, public policy, social sciences, or related fields
- Familiarity with qualitative documentation or training materials is an asset
Required Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in a relevant field
- Strong analytical and writing ability
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good command of English
