The Waste and Resource Management Cluster organized a Training Workshop on Waste Management in ASEAN Cities from 23 to 25 September 2024. The Training Workshop on Waste Management in ASEAN Cities, funded under the GIZ ASEAN Municipal Solid Waste Management Enhancement (GIZ-AMUSE) and 3RproMar projects, was held at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand. The workshop brought together over 40 participants, including environmental officers, public health experts, and waste management practitioners from across ASEAN cities. The aim was to enhance participants' knowledge, skills, and capacity for effective municipal solid waste management (MSWM), emphasizing evidence-based decision-making and circular economy principles.
