The Second Working Group Meeting of the ERIA Research Project on the Survey on Vehicle Recycling in the ASEAN Region was jointly organized by the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), Mitsubishi Research Institute (MRI) and the Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific (RRC.AP) on 21 August 2015 in Putrajaya, Malaysia. The meeting was attended by government officials, experts, think-tanks and persons with relevant knowledge and experience on End-of-Life Vehicle (ELV) recycling from India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. Mr. Shimpei Yamamoto, Managing Director for Research Affairs of ERIA and Mr. Osamu Mizuno, Director of the Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific (RRC.AP) at AIT delivered their opening remarks. The meeting successfully endorsed the outline of the Report on ASEAN ELV Recycling along with draft recommendation with some amendments. Mr. Osamu Mizuno, Mr. Guilberto Borongan and Ms. Woralac Rodsumang represented RRC.AP at the meeting.
