RRC.AP participated at the Workshop on the Initiative for Climate Action Transparency (ICAT), convened on 28 November 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand, upon the invitation of UNEP-DTU Partnership in Copenhagen which is involved in the Initiative for Climate Action Transparency (ICAT). The initiative aims to support countries to build capacity for assessing climate action and reporting their progress in line with the Paris Agreement. The meeting which took place at the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy (ONEP) in Bangkok, Thailand included several stakeholders, such as GIZ, Climate Change International Technical and Training Center (CITC), the Green Growth Institute and several Thai agencies. The objective of the meeting was to conduct an initial stakeholder mapping and discussion on potential collaboration areas between UNEP-DTU and the Thai government agencies and institutions, for ICAT program implementation in Thailand. Possible collaborations with the Climate Change cluster at RRC.AP were also discussed with UNEP-DTU.
