Charina May Lepiten has over 20 years of experience in varied fields ranging from atmospheric pollution, sustainable housing, disaster mitigation, and poverty alleviation to the construction of all-weather highways.
Her present focus is on issues related to air and atmospheric pollution. She assists in the organization of trainings and meetings, reporting and documentation and other activities of the Malé Declaration, an intergovernmental network for the control and prevention of air pollution in South Asia.
She is also helping to implement activities related to low-carbon, green growth and sustainable housing. Charina is the point person for coordinating activities of youth environmental networks project with UNEP ROAP. She also facilitates publication of RRC.AP e-Bulletin by consolidating information, drafting news articles, editing, formatting and proofreading.
