​Jonathan Brenes has experience in energy policy research and energy efficiency project implementation, as well as community development and climate action planning. He contributed to civil society initiatives in Costa Rica like the Monteverde Community Fund and the Centre for Urban Sustainability in community climate initiatives and research for the development of a greenhouse gas emission accounting and reporting program. As an analyst in Schneider Electric, he contributed to data management for greenhouse gas emission accounting and reporting schemes for European companies. Jonathan Brenes holds an MSc. in Environmental Sciences and Policy from the Central European University and a BA in Environmental Studies from The University of the South.
